SAPIENTIA

The first development loop of the new 70m Motor Yacht design Sapientia is successfully completed.
We set out to create a new platform with emphasis in spacious areas, a pleasant connection with the sea and high performance but above all a motor yacht that redefines luxury through the experience rather than materials. More alike to bringing an oasis feeling over the sea.

Born from a proven hull with a beam of 16.85m (more in line with 120m+ yachts), ceiling heights of 5m and 360 degrees panoramic views provide unique spaces for all day use and nighttime entertainment.
Sapientia is a combination of harnessing natural energy to reduce noise and improve air quality onboard. Her sky-high ceiling has sufficient area to provide a pleasant shadow and generate in excess of 1.3 MW with solar panels to cater for a large portion of the hotel loads required. And with a minimum wind or motion her aerodynamic interior volume provide a sea breeze experience.
Wetzels Brown penned a special interior with a Yacht Club feel that deserves a story by itself. With layout options ranging from 11 to 14 guest cabins and all the comforts, large garage spaces, large storage and crew areas Sapientia fulfils the superyacht profile with support vessel capacity.

Fuel consumption is halved compared to the current standards. She has a top speed of 27 knots, a cruising speed of 25 knots with 30% fuel consumption of a comparable size yacht. At 14 knots she has a range of 5000 Nm and still uses 50% of the fuel capacity of a similar size vessel.
